Highlights:
- During Literacy, we read "Book" and learned about the reading skill visualizing. We then practiced visualizing while reading a poem. Ask me about the poem and what I drew.
- We played Tower Defence in P.E.
- In Math, we started learning about place value. Ask me to show you how to use the place value chart.
- This afternoon, we started talking about the different ways our brain can learn. We will be using what we learn to make art focused on the ways that we all learn best. Today, we drew a self portrait. Ask me what I added to mine.
- For Social Studies, we talked about making positive impacts in our communities. Ask me to tell you ways I can make an impact at school and at home.
Reminders:
- Green folders went home with two important forms, the digital citizenship agreement and a parent questionnaire. Please return both forms before Friday September 11.
- Please log in to your Parent Powerschool account and complete any forms that are needed such as the demographics and the consent to post on the blog.
